This trek will go ahead with a minimum of 3 people booked. If the trip is not filled up 2 days before the hike, you will be refunded in full.

The rooms at the Liwa Art Hub are varied in size. There are rooms with 2, 3 and 4 single beds. The bathrooms are all shared and will be evenly distributed /allocated upon arrival and be aware that up to 7 people will share one bathroom. We cannot promise that everyone will have their own private bathroom. However, everyone will have a bed allocated and a room to change in. Some of the rooms have attached bathrooms.Most of the time, guests choose to sleep outside under the stars. Couples are usually given the double rooms, and friends take the rooms for 3 and 4 people. The residence has 21 beds and thus, the maximum of 21 people will be booked.

We recommend wearing light and loose-fitting clothing suitable for the desert climate, including a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Closed-toe shoes are also recommended for walking on the sand.

We will purchase Rwanda or East African Visas. This cost is included in your trip cost.
Malaria is a low risk in Rwanda and in Bwindi NP, but a higher risk in Mburo NP and the lowlands of Uganda. Talk to your doctor for recommendations.
Review your vaccine history and needs with your doctor. Yellow fever is low in Rwanda but poses a higher risk in Uganda. -

It is all locally grown and produced. We will try to cater to specific dietary requirements where possible. Please notify your group leader of any dietary requirements in your group meeting prior to the start of the trip.
For those suffering from particular food allergies, we will disclose to our fullest knowledge the main ingredients in dishes being served. -
Yes. We keep each vehicle equipped with a large bottled water container where everyone can refill their personal water bottles as needed.

The accomidations are all clean, well located 3-star hotels that have WiFi. You can expect a shared room, an insuite bathroom and modern conveniences.

You will need a soft sided bag or backpacks no more than 15-20kg that can easily be tossed in the bus/jeep. You'll also need a day pack to carry water and rain gear, etc for day trips. -
